Extensive Experience in Divorce and Family Law
At the Scalzo Law Offices, we have extensive experience in the resolution of family law matters - particularly the conflicts that arise from divorce. Often these matters, - such as child custody and support, - are charged with emotion. We believe a considered, thoughtful approach to the nature of the problems involved often indicates which methodology is most suitable. When children are involved, mediation or collaborative law may be the most responsible line of attack. However, if parental abuse is a genuine issue, litigation may be the more responsible route to take.
Our senior lawyer, Michael Scalzo is a court-appointed mediator for DuPage County, a member of the Collaborative Law Bar and is active in the DuPage Bar Association. Attorney Michael Scalzo also has extensive experience serving as a guardian ad litem in child custody matters.
We have two locations and for your convenience are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with evening and weekend meetings available by appointment.
